Korven One Developer Agreement

This Developer Agreement governs access to and use of Korven One Developer Services, APIs, SDKs, Webhooks, Sandbox Environments, Documentation, Developer Tools, and related services. By creating a Developer Account, generating API credentials, or accessing Korven One Developer Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Introduction

This Developer Agreement ("Agreement") governs access to and use of Korven One Developer Services, APIs, SDKs, Webhooks, Sandbox Environments, Documentation, Developer Tools, and related services.

By creating a Developer Account, generating API credentials, or accessing Korven One Developer Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Definitions

Korven One

Refers to Korven One and its affiliated entities.

Developer

Any individual, company, startup, institution, agency, or organization using Korven One Developer Services.

Developer Services

Includes:

  • APIs
  • API Keys
  • SDKs
  • Webhooks
  • Sandbox Environment
  • Developer Portal
  • API Explorer
  • Documentation
  • Testing Tools
  • Future Banking APIs

3. Developer Eligibility

To use Korven One Developer Services, Developers must:

  • Be legally authorized to enter agreements.
  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Maintain active contact information.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Korven One may approve, reject, suspend, or terminate Developer Accounts at its discretion.

4. Developer Account Security

Developers are responsible for:

  • Protecting API credentials.
  • Protecting API Keys.
  • Protecting Webhook Secrets.
  • Securing applications.
  • Monitoring account activity.

Developers must immediately report suspected unauthorized access.

5. API Keys

Korven One may issue:

Sandbox Keys

Used exclusively for testing.

Production Keys

Used for live transactions and production environments.

Developers must:

  • Keep keys confidential.
  • Rotate keys when necessary.
  • Never expose keys publicly.

Korven One may revoke compromised credentials.

6. Permitted Use

Developers may use Korven One APIs solely for authorized purposes related to:

  • Payment Processing
  • Wallet Services
  • Merchant Services
  • Marketplace Services
  • Subscription Billing
  • Escrow Services
  • Remittance Services
  • Banking APIs

7. Prohibited Use

Developers may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access.
  • Circumvent security controls.
  • Abuse rate limits.
  • Scrape Korven One systems.
  • Introduce malware.
  • Facilitate fraud.
  • Process illegal transactions.
  • Violate sanctions laws.
  • Create deceptive integrations.

Violations may result in immediate suspension.

8. Sandbox Environment

Korven One may provide a Sandbox Environment. Sandbox data:

  • Is simulated.
  • Does not represent real transactions.
  • May be reset at any time.

Korven One does not guarantee Sandbox availability.

9. Webhooks

Developers are responsible for:

  • Validating webhook signatures.
  • Securing webhook endpoints.
  • Handling retries.
  • Maintaining endpoint availability.

Failure to implement secure webhook practices may result in service interruptions.

10. SDKs and Documentation

Korven One may provide:

  • SDKs
  • Code Samples
  • Guides
  • Documentation
  • Tutorials

These materials are provided for convenience. Developers remain responsible for implementation and testing.

11. API Usage Limits

Korven One may enforce:

  • Rate Limits
  • Request Limits
  • Usage Quotas
  • Throughput Restrictions

Korven One may modify limits as necessary to maintain platform stability.

12. Monitoring and Security

Korven One may monitor:

  • API Requests
  • Error Rates
  • Usage Patterns
  • Security Events
  • Abuse Indicators

Korven One may take action to protect platform integrity.

13. Compliance Obligations

Developers agree to comply with:

  • AML Requirements
  • KYC Requirements
  • Data Protection Requirements
  • Sanctions Regulations
  • Consumer Protection Laws
  • Financial Regulations

Developers are responsible for ensuring their applications remain compliant.

14. Customer Data

Developers must:

  • Protect customer information.
  • Use appropriate security measures.
  • Limit access to authorized personnel.
  • Process data lawfully.

Developers may only use customer information for authorized purposes.

15. Data Security Requirements

Developers should implement:

  • Encryption
  • Secure Storage
  • Access Controls
  • Audit Logging
  • Secure Development Practices

Korven One may publish additional security requirements.

16. Intellectual Property

Korven One retains ownership of:

  • APIs
  • SDKs
  • Documentation
  • Developer Tools
  • Trademarks
  • Software

Developers receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Developer Services.

17. Service Availability

Korven One aims to provide reliable Developer Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Services may be modified, suspended, or updated. Maintenance windows may occur periodically.

18. Certification and Partner Programs

Korven One may establish:

  • Certified Developer Programs
  • Certified Agency Programs
  • Technology Partner Programs

Participation may be subject to additional requirements.

19. Suspension and Termination

Korven One may suspend or terminate Developer access for:

  • Security concerns
  • Fraud concerns
  • Abuse of Services
  • Violations of this Agreement
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Termination may include revocation of API access.

20. Audit Rights

Korven One may investigate or audit Developer usage where necessary to:

  • Protect platform security
  • Ensure compliance
  • Investigate abuse
  • Respond to legal obligations

Developers agree to cooperate with reasonable requests.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Korven One shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of Developer Services.

22. Indemnification

Developers agree to indemnify and hold Korven One harmless from claims arising from:

  • Developer applications
  • Developer integrations
  • Violations of law
  • Violations of this Agreement

23. Changes to Developer Services

Korven One may:

  • Introduce new APIs
  • Deprecate APIs
  • Modify SDKs
  • Modify rate limits
  • Update documentation

Korven One may provide notice where practical.

24. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws applicable to the Korven One entity providing the Developer Services and any applicable regulatory requirements. Additional jurisdiction-specific terms may apply.

26. Language

The official version of this Agreement is the English version. Translations may be provided in:

  • French
  • Spanish

In the event of conflict, the English version shall prevail.

27. Future Services

This Agreement may also govern future Korven One products, including:

  • Banking APIs
  • Treasury APIs
  • Remittance APIs
  • Open Banking APIs
  • Embedded Finance APIs
  • Banking-as-a-Service APIs

unless separate agreements are required.
